Autonomous Pursuit Robot is a system used by robots and autonomous vehicles to follow a human within a specific range. In this case, communication between the human and the robot is the most significant factor where a sensor is needed to ensure its success. Ultrasonic sensors are preferred for the Autonomous Pursuit Robot due to their wide detection area, low light dependency, the ability to detect glass and shining walls, smaller size, lightweight nature, very low memory usage, and lower cost and power consumption compared to a Laser Range Finder (LRF) or camera. However, being a specular type of sensor and not narrowly focused, this can cause wrong estimation and recognition of the human, especially at the legs. Therefore, necessary accompanying algorithms should be developed to encounter this issue. Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect the human’s leg, and the data collected from the sensors were used upon the design of the sensor platform. In order to detect the human’s leg, the sensor platform was tested repeatedly to obtain optimum data. The data which have been collected from the ultrasonic sensor will then be interfaced with Arduino software.
As the developer of the “Bharati Network” and “Manzil”, I created a comprehensive college networking website that centralizes and streamlines access to various digital resources, including a dedicated college magazine section called "Manzil." Using WordPress technology with HTML, CSS, JQuery,React and JavaScript for development and MySQL for database management, I integrated Social Media pages, News channel (“Bharati News”), and Radio channel (“Bharati Radio”) into a unified digital space. This platform addresses technical challenges like synchronization and data security, enhancing communication and engagement within the college community. The user-friendly interface promotes easy navigation, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration among students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The "Manzil" magazine section enables efficient content management and publication, showcasing college achievements. Thorough testing, including unit and system testing, ensured the reliability and correctness of all modules. This solution promotes active participation and ensures seamless access to diverse information, enriching the academic and social experience for all users.
